HOW I TURN A BLIND EYE TO PEOPLE JUDGING

NEVER CARE ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE THINK, they are going to judge you one way or another. So, why should you care about them, when they don’t care about what you have been through to make you think or act the way you do? People are so quick to judge things they don’t understand or haven’t experienced and they will judge no matter how hard you are trying to please them. If you gave them your ears and listened to how they are judging you and built your whole life on their opinion of you, it would be like giving yourself a lifetime prison of sadness and self-doubt, but on the other hand, if you just ignored what they think of you and just lived your life to what you think is right and what you believe is right for you, you would lead a life of happiness. And I think that what we are all looking for in our life, we are all trying to take paths that will lead to one thing, which is happiness.

Whenever I start to feel self-conscience toward people I just take a moment and close my eyes and do these things.
·         I remind myself that there is nothing called perfection in anything, and any already existing standard in anything is just human made and in turn not perfect.
·         I also remind myself that unless I am hurting people or myself, then what I am doing is not a bad thing.
·         I ask someone I trust like my mother or close family or friends if what I am doing has a harm to myself, just because sometimes you have to take another person prospective, but only someone you trust fully that he/she would want the best for you and not afraid to face you with the truth.
·         I usually read the four agreement (the best self-help book ever). It just give me the boost of trust I need about myself.
What do you usually do to overcome your self-conscience of what people are judging you?

  1. judgment will always be there, we have to remember that we know ourselves the best no matter how awful certain people or situations make us feel :) Great post!

  4. I think I'm lucky in this aspect, I rarely/never care what other people say, I just ignore them and carry on. When I'm in doubt, I think it over and go a bit deeper - very often there is a lot of jealousy and envy involved. I am anyway not the person who wants to please everybody neither do I expect to be loved by everyone...:-)
