New Year's Eve Outfit Ideas To Try This Year That Are Not Dresses

“AN OPTIMIST STAY ON TILL MIDNIGHT TO SEE THE NEW YEAR IS IN AND PESSIMIST STAY ON TO SEE THE OLD YEAR LEAVES.”

I have the best birthday date ever. January first. I love how my new year comes with the New Year. I love watching the celebration in the TV and act like the entire world is celebrating with me. I love the theme of New Year’s Eve mid night kiss and the parties going on everywhere. I can go on and on about what I love about my birthday.
One thing I love most about my birthday, is seeing what the world would be wearing in their New Year’s Eve party. The sequin and the fancy dresses. I, myself had never gone to a party because usually, I have exams after the New Year maybe a day later or something, so my celebration would be all about buying a cake and having a family date and then I celebrate my birthday after this with my friends.
So I decided to share with you nine outfits to wear on New Year’s Eve, that aren’t dresses. Especially if you are coming from preserved family, or for some reason you don’t like to show much of skin, these looks would look great for you.  I hope you like them.

I love this outfit because it is so elegant and sexy and party in the same time. I would just change the top to two sleeves sequin top because too much skin.

How pretty is this look?! This is my style these days. I wear fitted items from head to toe as I discovered that it suits my body the best. So I loved it and I would wear it. I would just sew the slit, and make it a pencil skirt with no slits.

Stunning, completely stunning I love the black and blue together and then the statement necklace is just perfect. I would add a fur jacket (a big trend this season) and make it suitable for the colder weather. This would be best for an open air celebration.

You know, when in doubt stick to either black or white. I think that is the rule of every person ever lived. Black and white are timeless and never get old. I would totally recommend wearing all black or all white and then adding a bold lip color, mostly red. For this look I would either wear a top underneath and getting this trendy look or simply would add a white jacket to get the monochromatic look.

THEINFROW never disappoint. I love how she styled this outfit. The silver sequin top and the blush pants are so pretty. Again I would add a blazer with the same color as the pants to make it more suitable for the Egyptian tradition.

You can always replace the sequin with silk and if silk is too expensive stick to satin, way less expensive and will give the same appearance. What I love about silk or satin is that they are both so feminine. I love how it looks like in any form. So pretty and lady like. I don’t think that men wear silk or satin, or do they?

Another outfit that totally screams ME. This outfit by GAL MEETS GLAM is so suitable for me and my society fix mission. I can wear it in winter time in any occasion or any party with my friends and it will look great. Through a sequin pants and style it with a black turtle neck (fitted would be more lady like) and then throw on a jacket and if you ever get hot, take off the jacket and rock off your simple outfit.

Another great idea to wear sequin and totally unique is through a maxi skirt. I never saw one before, but I saw this and I loved it. To add more glam style it with a fur jacket to have a better glam look.

The last outfit is through another sequin skirt, but this time a tulle skirt. Again style it with a black fitted turtleneck to have this simplicity appeal, add a statement necklace and here you go a great unique outfit for your New Year’s party.

I would be spending the New Year’s Eve studying because I have an exam on January first, I know, this sucks. And I would love to know how are you spending your New Year’s Eve, is it family thing, or lovers thing, or maybe it is a party where you will kiss someone when clock start twelve, either way, leave this in the comments down below and let’s start the conversation.

  1. Beautiful inspiring outfits. Sorry to hear you have to study on NY Eve. New Years Eve is always a special time for my bf and me, it's the night we met each other for the very first time. Happy holidays, girl. And good luck with your exams.

  2. I really like your selection of looks. I don't think I would go anywhere this NYE. Last year I spend my New Year Eve drawing but I dressed up nevertheless. I always get dressed up for this day because I love the start of the new year. My husband and I usually just stay at home, he watches TV and I do my art..and then we have a toast at midnight! It is also our tradition to go somewhere for that first day of New Year...we always have a little trip. It is very nice.
