“OUT OF YOUR VULNERABILITIES WILL COME YOUR STRENGHT.”
I am so happy today. Today is not just another blogging tips from
me that I have got from my experience. Today, I am bringing another great
blogger to tell us all about her experience in the blogging world, her
inspiration and her advice to all of us. Today I will be interviewing Pia from Fash ‘n’ fudge.
But wait no, we won’t have an interview, but we will be chatting together and
I’ll be knowing her better and you too guys.
Please make sure you go and check her blog Fash‘n’ fudge to enjoy perfect fashionable wearable looks.
Hello Pia, thanks for doing this chat with me. I was so happy when
I saw your email that you accepted it. I won’t take so much from your time, so
let’s right jump into it.
Why don’t you tell us more about your blog?
My blog is basically an outlet where I can creatively display my
love for fashion, modelling and photography. My blog has become my hobby and my
passion and I even enjoy stuff like editing photographs and editing my website.
I did the entire website by myself and it has been a struggle, since I’m not
really good with technology, so I’m extra proud I managed to design my blog
without any help (I only bought the theme on Etsy).
Fash ‘n’ fudge is a personal style blog, where I showcase my style. I would describe it as a mixture of minimalistic/bohemian and grunge styles if that makes any sense. I try to wear clothes that catch my eye in the store and not follow every trend that comes out (of course this can’t be avoided every time, some trends are just me) and I try to listen to myself when it comes to fashion.

How long have you been blogging?
This is actually my second blog. I started the first blog when I
was around 18 years old. I stopped blogging for about a year, before I started
my second blog Fash’n’ fudge. This happened in August 2015, so I’m currently
blogging for a little over a year at Fash ’n’ fudge.
What inspired you to start your blog?
I’ve always been fascinated with fashion and when I discovered what
blogging really meant and started reading a few fashion blogs I quickly
realized this was something that would let me explore fashion world on a whole
new level and when I started to write my blog I discovered blogging involved
all my dream jobs in one. I’ve always dreamt of being a fashion designer,
journalist at a fashion magazine and a model and I could do most of these
things with my blog.
What was the hardest step in starting a blog?
Blogging is a lot tougher than it seems. First of all, my biggest
problem was (and still is) how to stay consistent and post regularly. Currently
I’m struggling with posting two times per week and I still sometimes don’t
manage to squeeze a second post in one week. But I’m working on it J. The second thing is of course, how to get followers and traffic
to my blog. I kind of figured out Instagram a little bit but I have a lot more
to learn on how to get subscribers to my blog. The third thing that I do
realize I need to do waaaay more is networking. I have a hard time connecting
with unknown people in my personal life and blogger sphere is no different for
me. I met with two bloggers recently and that’s a huge deal for me. So I
definitely need to work on that a lot!
I am also facing the same problem because I am still a student in
college and it is so hard for me to manage between studying, socializing and
blogging.
What is the thing that you enjoy the most in blogging?
I enjoy creating new content the most. I love organizing
photo-shoots, posing for the camera and picking out the best pics to post on
the blog. I also love to write new posts, although I have to admit I sometimes
run out of interesting stuff to say.
What is the thing you enjoy the least in blogging?
One thing I enjoy the least is definitely promoting my blog. It’s
very time consuming and I think the effect of promoting the blog is too little,
considering how much traffic it brings to my blog.
What is the favorite post you have ever writer?
This is my favorite post overall! I think the written content was
pretty good, but most of all I loved how the photographs turned out.

Do you take your own pictures, or do you use a professional
photographer? If you take your own pictures what camera do you use and what
program do you use to edit your pictures?
My sister takes my photographs for me, but I set up all of the
setting on the camera, before she starts shooting. I use my Nikon D5300 with a
50mm 1.8g lens and I recently started using Adobe Lightroom to edit the
pictures.
Who is your blogging rule model?
Do you mean my blogging role model? My favorite blogger is Julie
Sarinana from Sincerely Jules, but I also love the following blogs: Mikuta,
Happily Grey, Janni Deler and LEHAPPY.
I love both of them. Happily Grey style is just perfect. I love
every look she post.
Can you tell us what captures you the most in other blogs? Like
what do you like the most about the blogs you follow, so we can take care of
those details that captures other bloggers?
The first thing that catches my attention is definitely the
personal style of each individual blogger. Besides that, I also love the photographs
that have a very unique editing style.
Where do you want to see your blog after a year?
I would like to expand my content on something other than fashion
and I also want to start adding video content to my blog.
I would like to know how you manage your blog with working/studying
and in the same time having personal/social time?
It’s really hard, because blogging and social media take away a lot
of my free time, but I enjoy doing both those things, so it isn’t a problem for
me. I find time for blogging, because I like it and I find time for my family,
boyfriend and friends, because they mean a lot to me. But I have to admit, I do
sleep a little bit less than I use to. I wake up really early to get everything
done.
I know that I want to know and everyone else would also want to
know, what are the five advices do you give to those who want to start a blog?
First, start your blog on wordpress and not on blogger, preferably
wordpress.org, because you have a lot more options to customize your site the way
you want to.
Second of all, you need to have high quality photographs, so invest in a good camera and a good lens (I suggest 50mm), because it will give you nice and blurry background.
Third advice would be to pick a good name for your blog, preferably something catchy that will be easy to remember.
Promote your content via commenting on other people’s blogs with a link to you site. Comment meaningful comments and you will surely attract enough visitors to your site as well.
Start working on your social media accounts like Instagram as soon as possible. Social media are very important to get you known and they are another way to drive traffic to you blog.

Can you describe your blogger voice or blog voice in three words?
Laid back, free and kind of messy.
Thanks so much for answering those questions. But I have one more
questions. Where can people find you on social media?
