“BE SELECTIVE IN YOUR BATTLES. SOMETIMES PEACE IS BETTER THAN BEING
RIGHT.”
I am back to college. Summer has ended way too soon. I like to
think sometimes that even in summer I attend school, but it is not the school
of finance as in winter, but it is school of life and experience. I feel like
in summer I learn a lot things and especially this last summer I learnt a lot
of things I have never knew before. I have been in a relationship and I ended
it up and not to mention I had the experience of a summer training in a bank.
Perfect experience.
So anyway I am back to college and I think that college is really
simple. There is nothing simpler than succeeding in college. Real life on the
other hand is way, way harder than college, so today I thought about
writing five rules on how to succeed in
college.
RULE NUMBER ONE: Focus on college itself. Don’t fool college for a
club or something. Remember that you are going to college to learn something
that will help you in work. You are not going to college to have a fashion
show, or to get to know some hot guy or whatever. Just focus on college, what
you learn and how to study it.
RULE NUMBER TWO: Study daily. Well, sometimes I am too tired after
college so I can’t study for a day, but I try to catch up on my studies the day
after and I try to study each lesson I take on a time and I don’t save them all
to study it at once.
RULE NUMBER THREE: Choose the right friends. Friends are the thing
that defines you. I am certain of this, because my 8 friends and I have the
same personality and the same grades.
RULE NUMBER FOUR: Have a schedule to follow on your free time.
First you need to do a schedule that contain your studying time and the things
you need to do and the thing you enjoy to do. So for example I always have my
schedule that I study for two hours and then do my blog posts and then study
again for two hours and then maybe watch a series for an hour or something then
study for two hours and then do some exercises for an hour. To me this is the
best schedule ever.
RULE NUMBER FIVE: Don’t listen to what others say, but try to do
things yourself. You might hear someone else saying that this professor is bad
or he gives bad grades or whatever and in reality this student wasn’t a good
one or didn’t study for the test. So you have to try everything yourself. Try
your own way of studying, try your own way around college. Really this will
make a huge difference, because after all humans are different and everyone has
his own mine and his own ability.
I would really love to know what you think of this post in
the comments down below. Till next time, bye. .
